Buffalo Bills vs. San Diego Chargers, 2014: first half open thread

Buffalo Bills fans chat about the first half of the Buffalo Bills game.

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills host the San Diego Chargers in a game that could have early AFC playoff implications. The 1-1 Chargers beat the Seattle Seahawks last week while the 2-0 Bills stomped the Miami Dolphins last week.

We've heard all about Antonio Gates and Philip Rivers this week, as they torched Seattle's vaunted secondary for three touchdowns a week ago. The Bills will key on Gates heavily, which could open up the passing game for Keenan Allen. The Chargers' strong running back, Ryan Matthews, is out with a leg injury.

On offense, Buffalo needs to improve their red zone efficiency this week. San Diego is not great on defense in the red zone and it could be a breakout game.

The wind and rain might be factors today so the running games of both teams could be tested, which would strongly favor the Bills. Leave your comments below and GO BILLS!
