The Buffalo Bills have been out of sync on offense so far in the first half. Luckily, their defense has been bent but not broken and two red zone stops have the San Diego Chargers up just 13-3.
San Diego has 4 plays of over 20 yards today including two 49-yard passes to Malcolm Floyd. Despite being down Ryan Matthews since last week and Danny Woodhead since the opening drive, the Chargers continue to pound the ball on the ground with Donald Brown. Philip Rivers has been surgical, as well, but the pressure did start to get to him near the end of the half. He has 183 yards and a touchdown pass to this point.
EJ Manuel had a highlight reel escape deep in his own territory and was able to find Scott Chandler for a big gain. Outside of that play, it's been a day to forget for the second-year QB. Swing passes have made up the bulk of his attempts. Buffalo has 113 yards of offense.
