Jim Kelly was at Buffalo Bills practice today awaiting results on his biopsy from last week. Well the results are in and they are GREAT!

The news was confirmed by Kelly shortly thereafter. It seems the aggressive and targeted chemotherapy has worked on the cancer cramping Kelly's facial nerves. Kelly released the following statement:

"This is some of the greatest news I've ever gotten," said the statement. "It's been a long road, and I'm still not back to 100 percent, but I have a lot to be thankful for."

Kelly has lost a significant amount of weight in the process, as he wasn't able to eat with the intense pain from the cancer followed by the treatment's effect on his mouth area.

"I am so thankful for the support and prayers of my family, my friends near and far, and everyone in Western New York and throughout the country through my illness. I also want to thank the medical specialists who have done such amazing work," continued Kelly. "Most of all, I want to thank God. Without my faith and God's constant presence, there would be no such thing as 'Kelly Tough.'"
