The Buffalo Bills rank among the top half of teams in the NFL in Week 12 power rankings, but like Tyrod Taylor, no one knows what to actually make of them. Are they as good as they've shown? Can they put together an entire game in all three phases? It's been a while since that's happened, and Buffalo slipped out of the Top 10 as a result.
SB Nation and NFL.com have the Bills at No. 11 overall. For the former, that represents a slight tick down from ninth, while they didn't move at all in the latter. Moral victories, indeed. SB Nation had them as the sixth-ranked team in the AFC, but third in the AFC wild card race ahead of the AFC West leaders. NFL.com had them ahead of Kansas City, and as the fifth-highest team in the conference.
Peter King moved them down one spot at The MMQB, with ESPN's power rankings bringing up the rear. The worldwide leader dropped them two spots to No. 14. They were seventh in the AFC to both outlets, as well, behind Pittsburgh and Kansas City.
