Darren Sproles scored on a two-yard touchdown run to open the scoring, and Nelson Agholor hauled in a 53-yard scoring reception in the second quarter to help the Philadelphia Eagles take a 17-10 lead into halftime at home against the Buffalo Bills.
LeSean McCoy ran the ball 12 times for 63 yards and caught two passes for 16 more yards in the first half, and Sammy Watkins caught a 47-yard touchdown pass from Tyrod Taylor in the first quarter to pace the Bills offensively. But the Eagles have been more efficient offensively - Sam Bradford has completed 16 of his 22 pass attempts, while Taylor is at 10-of-19 - and they capitalized on a fumbled punt by Marcus Thigpen to take their lead.
Philadelphia will also start the second half with the ball, so the Bills - fighting for their playoff lives - are up against it a bit heading into the second half. Let's see if they can sharpen up a bit in all three phases and pull back ahead of a team that they need to beat. Go Bills!
