NFL Combine 2015: OL, TE workouts open thread

Have some free time? NFL Combine workouts begin today with offensive linemen and tight ends. Come chat about it here.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

It's day three of action at the 2015 NFL Combine, but the first chance for players to get onto the field at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Today, defensive linemen and linebackers, who arrived yesterday, will get their measurements taken and be interviewed, while offensive linemen and tight ends will do their positional drills and run through the traditional gauntlet of Combine workouts: the 40-yard dash, the three-cone drill, the broad jump, and everything else.

The workouts will air live on NFL Network starting at 9:00 a.m. ET.

We'll attach a table of player measurements to the end of this article when they become available today. In the meantime, you can use this article as an open thread for discussing the day's events. Here are 10 questions I have about the players working out today. What are you looking for?

  1. How explosive are Maxx Williams and Clive Walford? The overall athleticism will determine if they will still be available for the Bills in the second round.
  2. How fast is Jesse James? Can he stretch the seams?
  3. How comfortable does Blake Bell look playing as a tight end?
  4. Does Jeff Heuerman have enough bulk to be a passable blocker?
  5. Ben Koyack isn't a great blocker, and only had 30 receptions for 317 yards and two touchdowns this year. Is there upside that didn't get shown at Notre Dame?
  6. Ali Marpet gained renown for impressive technique at the Senior Bowl. How does the Division III prospect handle competing against a stronger field?
  7. Donovan Smith is big and heavy. Does he have enough speed to stick on the edge?
  8. Trenton Brown is freaking huge. Is he just as athletic?
  9. Out of the several guard prospects who look like potential day two picks, how many are the combination of size and speed that Greg Roman is looking for?
  10. Cameron Erving jumped around the line in his career at Florida State. Where do teams work him out this week?
