ESPN's Mel Kiper released his latest 2015 NFL mock draft today, a three-round affair that gave us two Buffalo Bills projections to discuss.
With the Bills' second-round pick, Kiper projected Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty to the Bills at No. 50 overall. We talked about the Petty-to-the-Bills thing earlier this week, because SB Nation's Dan Kadar floated the same idea. With the 2015 NFL Draft just two weeks away (the Bills' first pick will be made two weeks from tomorrow evening), it's sounding like Petty is a name you'll see mentioned in conjunction with Buffalo more and more on the mock draft circuit.
Then, with the Bills' third-round pick, Kiper sent Division III prospect Ali Marpet of Hobart to the Bills at No. 81 overall. Marpet has been the recipient of a ton of pre-draft buzz thanks to his small-school origin story and his excellent pre-draft athletic workouts, and the Bills have a well-established need for more talent along the offensive line.
How would you feel if the Bills ended up with Kiper's projected players in Petty and Marpet come Friday evening, May 1?
