The 2011 CBA essentially made these rookie signings easy to finish but it's always nice to report good news. With two draft picks already signed, the Buffalo Bills doubled that number today adding third-round pick John Miller and fifth-round selection Karlos Williams.
Miller, the guard from Louisville, is already taking first-team reps at a position that is wide open on the offensive line. At worst, he figures to slot in as a key back-up for the team with an eye toward the starting lineup somwehere down the road. Williams' name is added to a crowded backfield where he'll fit the likes of Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon just to make the roster.
The two join WR Dezmin Lewis and TE Nick O'Leary as the Bills draft picks to sign contracts. Two picks are left to be signed: cornerback Ronald Darby (second round) and linebacker Tony Steward (sixth round). It's just a formatility, but it will still be nice when all of them sign on the dotted line.
