Buffalo Bills employ 11 former first-round NFL Draft picks

Of the 48 Buffalo Bills players that were drafted into the NFL, 11 of them were first-round picks - and six of those were drafted by the Bills themselves. Here's the breakdown.

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

As of today, the Buffalo Bills have 89 players on their roster, and 48 of them were drafted into the NFL - either by the Bills themselves, or by one of the other 31 teams in the league.

That list includes 11 players that were first-round picks - the Bills had 12 of them this time a year ago - with six of those selected by the Bills, and five by other clubs. That figure is higher than the number of players the Bills employ that were picked in any other round by a considerable margin.

Take a peek at the Bills' drafted-player distribution below. What stands out to you? Are you surprised about the proportionally smaller ratio of mid- and later-round picks on the team as opposed to first-rounders?
