2016 East-West Shrine Game: Buffalo Bills repped by Doug Whaley

New, comments

As the latest sign that we are in full-fledged offseason mode covering Bills football, here's a post about the team's GM watching a postseason college bowl featuring NFL Draft prospects.

Practices for the 2016 East-West Shrine Game began in St. Petersburg, Florida on Monday, and Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley is among many top-level NFL personnel executives taking in the first week of postseason scouting work in the 2016 NFL Draft cycle.

Whaley typically makes visits to the postseason college bowls, so this is not unusual for him. You'll likely hear about him taking in the Senior Bowl at the end of the month, as well.

Dan covered a bit of the Shrine Game earlier today, so if you're wondering which players in that game are at the forefront of his mind, read this article. You can also peruse the East and West rosters for the game, as well.

The 2016 East-West Shrine Bowl will be broadcast on NFL Network this Saturday, January 23, at 4:00 p.m. ET.
