Bills vs. Dolphins: Buffalo Bills tie it, 3-3, to end first quarter

The Bills haven’t got it going on offense yet, but are tied 3-3.

The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are 15 minutes into their October game and neither offense has been great. They are tied 3-3 after trading field goals.

The Bills defense was run through by Dolphins back Jay Ajayi on Miami’s opening drive. Once they got to the red zone, Miami switched it up and began throwing and ultimately couldn’t convert on third down. (Buffalo still has not allowed a red zone third down conversion this season.) After that long, Miami has had little going on offense.

Buffalo’s right tackle Jordan Mills has been tested early and often by Cameron Wake, who has a QB pressure and a sack already. Mario Williams didn’t start at defensive end for the Dolphins. The Bills lone score came when Brandon Tate brought back a Miami punt to the Dolphins 30-yard line. Buffalo drove it into the red zone but couldn’t put a touchdown on the board.

Miami is driving as the second quarter starts. A long pass went into Bills territory but a taunting penalty brought them back inside their own 40 after the play.
