The inactive reports are out for today’s game between the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins. Here are the players who won’t play today for Buffalo.
- QB Cardale Jones (healthy scratch)
- S Aaron Williams (neck/head)
- RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring)
- OT Seantrel Henderson (healthy scratch/weight)
- OC Patrick Lewis (healthy scratch)
- WR Marquise Goodwin (concussion)
- DL Jerel Worthy (healthy scratch)
Wide receiver Robert Woods returns to the lineup after an ankle injury sidelined him. Offensive tackle Cordy Glenn will start after being listed as questionable. Cyrus Kouandjio is the backup.
The biggest surprise on the list is Worthy, who has played every game this season in a rotation for the Bills this season. With a passing team like the Patriots, keeping more back-seven defenders makes sense, but run-stuffing linebacker Brandon Spikes was a candidate for a healthy scratch as well. What does make sense is that the Bills have one less defensive lineman now that Marcell Dareus is finally back in the mix after missing the first half of the season.
The Bills will go with the hot hand at running back to replace McCoy. Mike Gillislee should get the start with Reggie Bush playing third downs and Jonathan Williams sprinkled in.
