Bills vs. Patriots: second half open thread

The Bills are on the ropes. Can they come back?

The Buffalo Bills had a few good plays in the first half but it hasn’t been enough as the New England Patriots have built a 24-10 lead.

The Bills drove down the field with ease to open the game but consecutive Reggie Bush miscues meant they had to settle for a field goal. Tom Brady made his presence known early, throwing a pair of touchdown passes to make it 14-3. After a Buffalo drive helped along by miscues from New England, Mike Gillislee banged home a touchdown run to make it a close game but Brady’s third touchdown pass found Rob Gronkowski for 53 yards. New England ended the half with a field goal that bounced off the goal post, adding insult to injury.

Buffalo made a late push but Dan Carpenter doinked one off the right upright to cap the score chances for the Bills. Gillislee is having a decent game running the ball with nine rushes for 72 yards. Taylor has been off the mark, going 10-of-23.
