First... the injured players.
Corbin Bryant had been nursing a shoulder injury for other a month. The last time he played was October 30 against the Patriots.
Walt Powell injured his ankle on a run play in Week 13’s contest against the Jaguars.
Now, the promoted guys.
The story of Dez Lewis is well-known, so I’ll keep it brief. He’s shown positive flashes but after a strong minicamp, he underwhelmed in training camp and the preseason. At 6’4”, he has great size but hasn’t been able to show consistency early in his NFL career.
Deandre Coleman is a 6’5”, 340-pound nose tackle who went undrafted out of California in 2014. The Bills are his fifth pro team. Buffalo signed him to its practice squad after he was part of the Dolphins’ final roster cuts in early September.
