After garnering a relatively large television map last week when playing the conference-leading Oakland Raiders, the Buffalo Bills have an even large footprint this week when they play another team in the thick of the AFC playoff race. When Buffalo hosts the Pittsburgh Steelers, almost the entire East Coast will see the game and CBS is sending their top announcer crew.
The biggest news on the map isn't that the Bills and Steelers are along the East Coast, it's the patches of yellow that dot the landscape. The New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers are terrible and have been eliminated from the playoff race. What gives? Miami, in particular, should be much more concerned with the other teams they are battling in the playoff race.
Jim Nantz and Phil Simms are on the call. They are the top crew at CBS and have only called one Bills game this year; a Week 2 primetime matchup on Thursday Night Football.
