Buffalo Bills vs Pittsburgh Steelers: Kyle Williams leads the inactive list

The Bills are counting on Leger Douzable this week.

The inactive players have been announced for today’s game between the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

For Buffalo, the major loss is Kyle Williams, who was a late scratch with an aggravated back injury on Friday. They’ll be hard-pressed to stop LeVeon Bell and Antonio Brown without him. In his place, a combination of Leger Douzable, Adolphus Washington, and Jerel Worthy will be filling in.

Lerentee McCray is inactive as he continues going through the concussion protocol. Recently-elevated Bryson Albright returns to the active roster in his stead.

Cardale Jones is sticking with the inactives this week, although he’s reportedly beginning to work his way into EJ Manuel’s practice reps.

Recently-signed tight end convert Logan Thomas is inactive for the second straight week. Also joining him on the inactive list is Gerald Christian, leaving Charles Clay and Nick O’Leary active today.

Jonathan Williams will sit this one out as a healthy scratch, and Reggie Bush (who recently brought his season rushing total above zero yards) is active.

Finally, Dezmin Lewis isn’t cracking the active roster this week. This is a good sign for the Bills, because it means both Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods are healthy and playing. Tyrod Taylor will have a full receiving complement available.
