The Buffalo Bills have been eliminated from the playoffs for the seventeenth straight season. You won’t get any goofy stats or weird facts about the last time the Bills were in the playoffs here. We’re disappointed.

Buffalo needed a win against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday to allow their season to continue but a career-long field goal near the end of regulation was good for Miami to tie it. Buffalo had a great opening drive stall and Dan carpenter missed a go-ahead field goal. Miami would punt on the ensuing drive but Rex Ryan inexplicably called for a punt with four minutes left. They never got the ball back. The Dolphins ran it deep into Bills territpry and kicked the game-winnimg field goal. It stings even more that the Titans lost, ensuring the Bills could have stayed alive until tomorrow.
The Bills will now re-examine the future of general manager Doug Whaley, head coach Rex Ryan, and quarterback Tyrod Taylor. We’ll have a full postmortem on the season after the holiday.
