Bills vs. Jets TV map very limited Sunday

New York and... New York

Matt Warren is Associate Director of NFL coverage for SB Nation and previously covered the Bills for Buffalo Rumblings for more than a decade.

The Buffalo Bills and New York Jets aren’t playing for anything exciting on Sunday. Come to think of it, with the AFC playoff races set, CBS had to make lemonade out of lemons with their entire broadcast schedule. The Bills and Jets have a very limited map but so does almost everyone.

Buffalo vs New York, the yellow area on the map, is confined to most of Upstate New York, New York City and Long Island, New Jersey, and small parts of Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont as the Buffalo, NYC, and Albany television markets bleed into those other states.

The trio of Andrew Catalon, Steve Beuerlein, and Steve Tasker is the sixth-ranked team at CBS. At least we’ll get to hear Bills legend Tasker’s take on moving on from Rex Ryan and Anthony Lynn. Even if he won’t be critical of the team’s power structure, he’ll give information on how they are as coaches and/or people.
