Mel Kiper 2016 NFL mock draft: Robert Nkemdiche to Buffalo Bills

The Bills just parted ways with an ultra-talented defensive lineman with motivation issues in Mario Williams. Would they seriously entertain taking on an even bigger risk to replace him? Mel Kiper thinks so.

In his latest 2016 NFL mock draft, ESPN's Mel Kiper projects Mississippi defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche to the Buffalo Bills with the No. 19 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Explains Kiper:

A special talent and incredible athlete at his size, Nkemdiche could play a big part in getting Rex (and Rob) Ryan's defense back to where it should be after an awful 2015. He's a character risk, but a top-five talent.

Among the notable names that Kiper left on the board in slotting Nkemdiche to the Bills, Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland, Eastern Kentucky edge rusher Noah Spence, and Alabama defensive lineman Jarran Reed stick out the most. All three, like Nkemdiche, have been popular mock draft picks for the Bills since the 2015 regular season concluded.

Nkemdiche would be a huge gamble for a Bills organization that just parted ways with another ultra-talented defensive lineman with motivation issues in Mario Williams. In fact, Nkemdiche's non-football concerns are far more troubling than Williams' ever were, which would make a Bills selection of Nkemdiche a curious one, regardless of his immense physical skill.

Would you be okay with the Bills picking up Nkemdiche?
