2016 NFL mock draft: Laremy Tunsil to Tennessee Titans

The Browns, and general manager Good Apollo, are on the clock!

With the first pick in the 2016 Buffalo Rumblings Community Mock, the Tennessee Titans (represented by gregeng) have selected Laremy Tunsil, offensive tackle from Ole Miss. Here's what he had to say about the pick:

Entering this draft, there are two philosophies for me to choose from, going for the best player available or dealing with your teams biggest need.  Luckily for the Titans their two biggest areas of need (Offensive Tackle and Cornerback) converge with possibly the two best players in this years draft, Laremy Tunsil and Jalen Ramsey.

When reading up for this pick, the discussion seemed to come down to how best to protect Marcus Mariota, by stopping the D getting to him with an all star tackle or letting the Titans play with a lead so Mariota has to drop back to throw less.  Whilst Tunsil seems to be a plug and play guy at Left Tackle, there does seem to be some question about whether Ramsey has the speed to play outside, but he could become one of the top safeties in the league. Do the Titans have time to figure out his best position?

With the state of the AFC South there may not be a better opportunity than this year for the Titans to go from worst to first, so i think that the player with the most immediate impact will be my pick.

The Cleveland Browns are now on the clock. Remember, when it's your turn to submit a draft choice, email it to dan.r.lavoie+sbnation@gmail.com.
