Almost immediately after hearing the news that Marcell Dareus was to be suspended four games, the Buffalo Bills learned that another prospective starter may be out for the first game of the year.

Sometimes these incidents happen without going public. I'm told it was not recent. https://t.co/3GGetN94dI

According to TBN’s Jay Skurski, the incident occurred at some point last season. At this point, there are no details on exactly what happened or why it took so long for the suspension to hit, so it’s best to reserve judgement until the facts come out.
This hasn’t been a great day for the Bills, and, actually, it’s easy to argue that today is the worst day of the team’s offseason. The injuries are hard to deal with, but when players are missing time because of their own poor decisions off the field, it stings a lot more.
Lawson is entering the final season of a four-year deal he signed in 2013. If the Bills can find someone left on the open market to fill his shoes, it’s entirely possible they cut ties with him as soon as they can. It would be a disappointing end to his Bills career, but one entirely of his own making.
