Having announced the naming-rights partnership between the Bills and New Era Cap Co., which was founded and remains in Buffalo, on Saturday evening, we knew a new stadium name was in order.
But no one was quite sure of the precise title.
The Bills and New Era Cap Co. are set to officially announce the name tomorrow at an 11 am press conference.
The Bills stadium opened as Rich Stadium in 1973 and kept that name until the start of the 1999 season when it was re-named Ralph Wilson Jr. Stadium.
