As the Buffalo Bills anxiously await further news regarding Reggie Ragland’s injured left knee, the team managed to find some lighthearted fun this week courtesy of the rookie’s linebacker counterpart.
While Preston Brown has frequently donned a LeBron James jersey this offseason in celebration of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ title-winning campaign, it was Brown’s decision to regularly wear a hoodie under his practice jersey that piqued the curiosity of those covering the team.
Following Thursday’s practice, Brown revealed the reasoning behind his style preference after he and a few of his teammates were ordered to remove their hoodies.
Here’s the video of Brown addressing reporters courtesy of WKBW’s Matthew Bove:

The providing of candy has been a responsibility placed upon the shoulders of the defense’s younger contributors over the course of the past few years. Much like Brown was required to dole out sweets to veterans like Brandon Spikes and Keith Rivers during his rookie season, the same is being asked of this season’s newcomers.
As told to ESPN’s Mike Rodak, Brown was pleased with Ragland’s candy selections prior to the rookie second-round pick being sidelined by injury.
“He went to Target and got all the big, fun-size, big Halloween-style stuff,” Brown said. “So he’s got candy for days.”
Therefore, in addition to the high expectations surrounding Ragland’s role in the heart of the Bills’ defense, Brown and his teammates will also hope for a quick return due to their respective sweet tooth’s.
In the meantime, if Rob Ryan’s assertion that Brown will be a star for the Bills this coming season proves true, could the third-year linebacker be looking at some sort of sponsorship deal from his preferred candy brand?
A Brown-Haribo Gold-Bears partnership certainly looks like a potentially lucrative union...
