As has been reported for most of the week, Tyrod Taylor will be inactive for the final game of the season. Whether it’s because of injuries, business concerns, or both is debatable, but whatever the reason it’ll be EJ Manuel making what will probably be his final start with the Bills. Rookie Cardale Jones will be active for the first time this season, but probably won’t see the field.
Cordy Glenn (back) and Stephon Gilmore (concussion) have been ruled out already due to injury. Cyrus Kouandjio will start for the fifth time this season at left tackle, while rookie cornerback Kevon Seymour will likely start for the third time this year.
Logan Thomas, signed to the Bills roster about a month ago, wasn’t able to dress for a game this season. He’ll be a free agent this year, and it’ll be interesting to see if he showed enough for the Bills to bring him back for another try at the position switch.
Neither Dez Lewis nor Gerald Christian have played since the loss to the Raiders on December 4. It’d be a surprise if either player returns to the Bills next season.
Adolphus Washington will miss his first game of the year after seeing a good amount of action in his rookie campaign. The third-round pick will likely give way to Deandre Coleman, a promising defensive tackle that has earned a bit more playing time after being brought aboard a month ago.
