Buffalo Bills guard Richie Incognito will be a part of the 2017 Pro Bowl roster, after all. Incognito was originally named an alternate but will replace Baltimore Ravens guard Marshal Yanda. It will be Incognito’s second consecutive trip and third overall Pro Bowl.
The Bills offense relied heavily on the running game in 2016, leading the league in rushing yards, touchdowns (a franchise-record 29), and yards per carry while ranking second in total carries. He was the stalwart of the line starting all 16 games despite the players flanking him missing considerable time. His duties frequently involved him pulling to lay the hammer on unsuspecting linebackers.
Incognito won’t be joined by running back LeSean McCoy, though, as the veteran has pulled out of the game with an injury. Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander is the only other Bills player in the Pro Bowl as of right now but several other Bills were named alternates.
