The Buffalo Bills (2-1) have a tremendous opportunity today in Atlanta, where they face off against the reigning NFC champion Atlanta Falcons. The birds are off to a hot start, winning all three of their contests thus far. This will be Atlanta’s first game that doesn’t include an opponent from the NFC North division. For the Bills, it’s their second date with an NFC South opponent, and the second time that such a game will occur on the road. In the second week of the season, Buffalo lost a 9-3 snoozefest to the Carolina Panthers, and they could have had the game in hand if rookie Zay Jones and quarterback Tyrod Taylor had been able to hook up on a fourth down in the fourth quarter.
The Falcons will be without four starters (DL Courtney Upshaw, ED Vic Beasley, RT Ryan Schraeder, and S Ricardo Allen). The Bills will be without starting left tackle Cordy Glenn, and defensive lineman Shaq Lawson is a game-time decision.
Enjoy the first half, folks—let’s hope there are plenty of positives to discuss for the next three hours or so!
