Doug Marrone, Nate Hackett, Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods, and Nickell Robey-Coleman will all take the field together today, but they won’t do so as members of the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills’ former coaches will play host to Buffalo’s former players this afternoon, as Marrone’s Jacksonville Jaguars welcome the revamped Los Angeles Rams to the northeast corner of Florida. With some discussion of the group’s time together in Buffalo becoming a minor story earlier in the week, this game could be an interesting one if for no other reason than watching our former players and coaches do their thing somewhere else.
Another important game to watch for Buffalo is the contest between the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs and the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers. With the Chiefs already off to such a hot start, a Pittsburgh loss could benefit the Bills in terms of wild card positioning later in the season. Sure it’s early, but every loss for a conference opponent helps.
