The Buffalo Bills have 5 offensive tackles, when most teams typically carry three or maybe four. Head coach Sean McDermott took the podium Wednesday and spoke on the issue at hand and what they would do with the tackle situation:
“[Having too many tackles] is a good problem to have. That’s a position of value across the league, those guys are hard to find. All five of those guys, we have a tremendous amount of confidence in. When you look at what they've done and where they've plated over the years, I feel like we’re in a good position.”
It was reported by Jason La Canfora that the Bills have had trade discussions with the Seattle Seahawks about Cordy Glenn but they stalled due to the Bills’ high asking price. McDermott and general manager Beane are believers in building through the draft and getting more picks in the first three rounds surely intrigues them.
“We look at everything [as far as trades], we honestly do. We get calls all the time about guys and I know those guys can play and I have a tremendous amount of confidence in them,” continued McDermott.

Glenn has missed the past 3 games due to injury and trading him would cost the Bills about $18 million in dead money over this year and next. If the price is right and Dion Dawkins continues to get better each week, this will be a story to look for in the coming days.
Teams who are struggling to keep their quarterback upright could be interested in guys like Glenn, Dion Dawkins, Jordan Mills and Seantrel Henderson. The NFL trade deadline is on October 31st, giving the Bills 12 days to make a deal.
