The New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons square off tonight in a crucial match-up for both teams’ playoff chances. Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints victories today mean both teams need to win to stay on top of their respective divisions.

In the AFC East, the Patriots (4-2) sit tied with the Bills (4-2) before the game kicks off. Both have identical division and conference records, too. If New England wins tonight, Buffalo sits in fifth place in the AFC as the top Wild Card team. If New England loses, Buffalo is up into third place in the conference and tops in the division.

For the Falcons (3-2), the Saints win today moved them to 4-2. Like Buffalo and New England, the two teams won’t face each other until December.

The Falcons and Patriots played in last year’s Super Bowl, of course, with Atlanta blowing a 28-3 lead and handing another Lombardi trophy to New England. We hope they get a small measure of revenge tonight.

This is your live chat to root against the Patriots. Have at it.
