Tre’Davious White could be the next great Buffalo Bills cornerback

He’s the best newcomer on a team full of newcomer.

The Buffalo Bills are full of newcomers. From head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane, to the back end of the roster, the Bills have quickly churned the roster of good players and journeymen. Standing ahead of them all is Tre’Davious White who might not just be the best new face on the Buffalo Bills, he might be the best in the league.

White, the NFL’s reigning Defensive Rookie of the Month for September, has been plugged in as a starting cornerback since day 1 and was elevated to the top spot in August when Buffalo traded Ronald Darby to the Eagles. All White has done is pass every test thrown his way.

In Week 4, White scooped up a fumble and scored his first NFL touchdown and made Pro Football Focus’ list as one of the top two cornerbacks of the week. A week early, he snagged his first NFL interception against the Denver Broncos.

On a team of talented newcomers, in a secondary full of brand new faces, White is standing out among the crowd and hopefully will continue to do so for year to come.
