Buffalo Bills inactives, week 10: E.J. Gaines out

The Bills are without three starters this week

When the Buffalo Bills take the field this afternoon against the New Orleans Saints, they’ll do so without their starting left tackle, starting right cornerback, and one of their starting wide receivers. Here are Buffalo’s inactives for their week ten home tilt.

RB Travaris Cadet

Buffalo’s newest addition to the offensive backfield will be a healthy scratch today. Cadet replaced Taiwan Jones on the roster, who broke his arm late in last week’s loss. Mike Tolbert will continue to serve as LeSean McCoy’s backup.

WR Zay Jones

The rookie wide receiver had his best game as a professional on Thursday night, but it was cut short due to a knee injury. This weekend, he finds himself out with an ankle injury. Kelvin Benjamin will replace him in the lineup, with Jordan Matthews, Andre Holmes, and Deonte Thompson rounding out the names expected to take most of the snaps at wide receiver this week.

LT Cordy Glenn

Buffalo’s starting left tackle is out yet again due to soreness in his left foot and ankle area. After offseason surgery to fix the problem, Glenn has had a rough time coming back, missing two games earlier this season. He’ll be replaced in the starting lineup by Dion Dawkins.

T Conor McDermott

With Glenn also inactive, the only offensive line question was whether McDermott or Seantrel Henderson would serve as the swing tackle. Now, we know that it will be Henderson.

TE Khari Lee

No surprise here, as Charles Clay is back and ready to roll, so the Bills will go with Clay, Nick O’Leary, and Logan Thomas at tight end this afternoon.

G John Miller

For the fifth straight game, the former third round draft pick is a healthy scratch. He lost his starting job to Vlad Ducasse following Buffalo’s victory over the Atlanta Falcons in week four.

CB E.J. Gaines

In somewhat of a surprise, the Bills’ starting right cornerback will miss his fourth consecutive game. Shareece Wright will start, with Leonard Johnson and Lafayette Pitts the other corners active alongside rookie Tre’Davious White.

For New Orleans, the following players are inactive today:

QB Tayson Hill

S Kenny Vaccaro

DE Hau’oli Kikaha

C Cameron Tom

T Bryce Harris

WR Austin Carr

DE Al-Quadin Muhammed
