The Buffalo Bills game on Sunday was one of the most brutal losses in quite some time. However, many media outlets didn’t drop the Bills too low on their power rankings this week. I guess they all just respect the New Orleans Saints that much.
In the weekly ESPN power rankings the Bills only dropped one spot, from 15th down to 16th. They also see the Bills win total this season being 7.8, so right under .500.
Our very own SB Nation power rankings have the Bills falling a little lower. Buffalo now sits at the 17th place in the rankings after starting the week as the 15th-best team in the league.
Sports Illustrated also placed the Bills at 17 this week following the blowout loss. Two of the voters thought the Bills were good enough to be at 15, but one thought they deserved to be the 20th spot on the list.
Bleacher Report has the Bills coming in at 17 this week, not surprising at all when you look at all of the other power rankings done throughout the country.
All in all, the Bills are kind of lucky the rest of the AFC is a dumpster fire right now. Otherwise they would be way lower on these lists.
