Buffalo Bills kicker Stephen Hauschka misses Thursday’s practice with hip soreness

Not a good thing.

The Buffalo Bills are in the process of preparing for their game against the Los Angeles Chargers and a surprising name was added to the injury report on Thursday. Kicker Stephen Hauschka missed practice with soreness in his right hip. Buffalo doesn’t have anyone on the roster that could kick so don’t be surprised if they bring in some tryout guys on Friday in case Hauschka gets worse.

In happier news, E.J. Gaines was a full participant. The cornerback has missed the last two games but looks good to play on Sunday. Also a full go was wide receiver Zay Jones.

Also returning to practice was defensive end Jerry Hughes, who missed Wednesday with a shin injury. He was limited on Thursday but it’s a good bet he’ll play Sunday.

New on the injury report was guard John Miller, who tweaked his ankle. He joins wide receiver Jordan Matthews and tight end Charles Clay as limited participants.

Tackle Cordy Glenn and running back Mike Tolbert were out with ailments and now seem unlikely to play Sunday. Richie Incognito was given a rest day.
