The Bills will presumably swap Zay Jones into the slot for Matthews this week

The Buffalo Bills ruled out three players on Friday for their week 11 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers. In addition, the team will be without starting wide receiver Jordan Matthews. Also, both cornerback E.J. Gaines and wide receiver Zay Jones are full-go today, as they don’t even carry an injury designation after missing time due to a hamstring injury and an ankle injury, respectively. Here is the full injury report.

LT Cordy Glenn

One-third of the trio ruled out earlier in the week, Glenn will miss his second consecutive game, and his fourth overall, as he deals with residual soreness from foot/ankle surgery he had this offseason. Rookie Dion Dawkins will start in his place once again.

RB/FB Mike Tolbert

The only real backup to LeSean McCoy injured his hamstring in last week’s loss to the New Orleans Saints, and he is inactive today. He was ruled out on Friday. Travaris Cadet, who signed with Buffalo on November 4, will serve as McCoy’s sole backup, with fullback Patrick DiMarco the only other active runningback this week.

G John Miller

Miller has been a healthy scratch in every game since the week five loss at the Cincinnati Bengals, so the only change this week is that he’s scratched with an injured ankle instead. Vlad Ducasse will continue to start at right guard, with Ryan Groy serving as the backup interior lineman.

WR Jordan Matthews

Buffalo’s number two receiver will miss the game with a knee injury he suffered during last week’s rout. With Zay Jones returning to the lineup, it will be nearly a one-for-one switch between the two.

TE Logan Thomas

Active for all but one game so far this season, Thomas takes a seat for tight end Khari Lee. With Charles Clay and Nick O’Leary healthy atop the depth chart, the coaching staff must want better blocking at the position.

CB Shareece Wright

Wow. Wright went from starting in place of injured E.J. Gaines to a healthy scratch upon Gaines’s return. Lafayette Pitts will suit up instead of Wright as the team’s fourth corner.

T Conor McDermott

Nothing to see here, as the fifth offensive tackle has been a healthy scratch since being acquired from the New England Patriots.

The Chargers’ inactives are as follows:
