Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets on Thursday night football: live game chat

No Kelvin Benjamin, but the Bills will look to go 6-2 regardless

The Buffalo Bills can hit the halfway point of their schedule at 6-2 for the first time since 1993 if they can secure a road victory over the New York Jets. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo have the call for this prime time matchup from Eat Rutherford, New Jersey.

The Bills are looking for their third consecutive victory, having defeated both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders since their bye week. The Jets have lost three consecutive games, all by 7 points or less, after having won their previous three games. The season has been one of streaks for New York, as they lost their first two games, as well.

Although Kelvin Benjamin won’t make his Buffalo debut, Tyrod Taylor will look to build on his last two solid performances with the same corps of receivers he’s had all season. To do so, he’ll have to improve his play away from New Era Field. Buffalo is 1-2 on the road, and the Jets are 2-2 at home. Buffalo defeated the Jets 21-12 in the season opener.
