Even with the Buffalo Bills lack of defense the last three weeks, one member of the secondary is currently in the lead for a Pro Bowl spot. Strong safety Micah Hyde leads the AFC in voting at the position.
Hyde was part of the rebuilding of the tea’s secondary this past offseason. Hyde singed with Buffalo as a free-agent and made an immediate impact. The Bills also added Jordan Poyer, Tre’Davious White, and E.J. Gaines, completely overhauling every aspect of their secondary.
Through ten games played this season, Hyde has five total interceptions which is good for second-most in the NFL. At one point he led the league in picks. Hyde also has eight pass break ups so far.
Hyde’s play has slowed down a bit since his hot start to the season. Hyde hasn’t came down with an interception in four weeks and he has had to exit the last two weeks with a knee injury, but is expected to be 100% this Sunday.
