The Buffalo Bills defense seemed to return to its early season form in the first half against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills lead 13-3 at the half.
The Bills have only allowed one first down so far on the day from Kansas City and that came on the last drive of the half. Buffalo’s defense has made quarterback Alex Smith seem uncomfortable all day.
The Bills offense sputtered early, but has been effective in driving the ball methodically down field all day. Tyrod Taylor connected with Zay Jones for the first score of the day. Jones leads the team in receiving yards so far with 33 yards in the first half.
Kicker Stephen Hauschka is two for three on the day and missed from 52 yards, snapping his streak of 13 straight 50+ yard field goals. But he drilled one from 56 yards with four seconds left in the half and made an earlier chip shot.
The second half should be a good one. Come talk about it with us.
