Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots broadcast map

We can call it the Patriots effect

NFL: New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

When the Buffalo Bills take on the New England Patriots this Sunday at New Era Field there will be a lot of people all over the country watching the two best teams in the AFC East.

Thanks to 506sports.com, we’re able to see what parts of the country will get to watch the Bills this weekend. The areas that will get to see Buffalo are highlighted in red.

Along with the large broadcast coverage this week, Bills fans at home will also get a special treat. The number one CBS crew of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be on the call at 1:00 Sunday.

One explanation for the bigger-than-normal viewing audience is after the Bills got back above .500, maybe broadcast networks are starting to respect the team more and see them as more of a playoff contender. Even without respect, it’s the only game on CBS this weekend featuring two teams with winning records.

Regardless of reason, lets just appreciate Buffalo getting some national exposure. Now the real question is how long into the broadcast do they show Niagara Falls or a plate of Wings?
