Does Madden have the Bills pulling off another upset?

On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills host their AFC East rival, the New England Patriots, in a matchup that has playoff implications for the home team. Last week, EA Sports NFL Madden 18 predicted the Bills to pull off a major upset against the Kansas City Chiefs, and to many people’s surprise, it happened. What will the simulation show for this week?

Bills 27, Patriots 34

Scoring 17 points in the fourth quarter was still not good enough, as the Bills fell to the Patriots at home, putting their postseason chances in severe jeopardy. Stephen Hauschka kicked a 27-yard field goal to tie the game up with just over two minutes remaining in the game. The kick erased a 27-10 deficit the Bills faced heading into the final quarter of play. However, Tom Brady led his team down the field in a hurry on a drive that was capped off with a two-yard touchdown run by Dion Lewis to seal the deal.

Tyrod Taylor passed for 292 yards and a touchdown, which is a pretty good day, except Brady passed for 341 and two touchdowns. In the battle of the running backs, it was Lewis who led the day with 125 yards on the ground with two scores. LeSean McCoy had a semi-quiet day with only 82 yards. Zay Jones, who has been improving every week recently, led the Bills with 95 yards receiving on the day.

Let’s hope the Bills defense will not allow almost 500 yards of total offense again like Madden predicts.
