It’s New England Patriots week, everybody! The stakes couldn’t be higher, as the Buffalo Bills need a win to buoy their increasingly-shrinking playoff chances. The Patriots move ever-closer to clinching the AFC East with a win in Orchard Park.
For the Bills, Kelvin Benjamin will sit once again. He suffered a torn meniscus in the team’s humiliating 54-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers two weeks ago. LeSean McCoy did not practice much this week, as he was experiencing some knee soreness, but he enters the game without an injury designation. He will be relied upon heavily as the Bills try to beat the Patriots at New Era Field for the first time since 2011.
While Buffalo’s offense is pretty banged up entering the game, the defense is relatively healthy. The entire defensive squad will need to have itself a day if they want to slow down the NFL’s number one offense in both passing yards per game and total yards per game.
This is your open thread for the first half. Go Bills!
