As we transition from the free agency period to the NFL draft prep portion of the offseason, it’s worth noting that the time for minicamps and other offseason activities will soon be upon us. With that in mind, here is a quick summary of what’s to come in the Buffalo Bills’ off-season schedule.
Monday, April 3 is the first day of the offseason program. That’s where players work out together, for the most part. After that, the team will hold a veteran minicamp beginning on Thursday, April 20. After the NFL Draft, which will be held April 27-April 29 in Philadelphia, the team will hold its rookie minicamp beginning on May 12.
After rookie mini-camp, the team begins its first few organized team activities (OTAs). Three will be held prior to the team’s mandatory minicamp in June: One beginning on Thursday, May 18, one on Thursday, May 25, and one on Thursday, June 8. The mandatory minicamp will then take place from June 13 though June 15.
The NFL offseason is a long one, but there is plenty of action to tide fans over until the real games start in September. Buffalo Bills football will be back before we know it!
