The Buffalo Bills seemingly don’t have a second wide receiver or cornerback and folks in NFL Draft circles have taken notice. Dan Kadar at our parent company, SB Nation, is one of them and gave the Bills one of each in his latest mock draft.
In the first round, tight end O.J. Howard is the pick. Howard has been a popular pairing with the Bills lately despite the presence of Charles Clay. Howard and Clay together would give the Bills lots of big targets for Tyrod Taylor in the passing game plus the ability to continue fielding a dominant running game. He comes from Alabama, a favorite school of Bills general manager Doug Whaley.
In the second round, cornerback Tre’Davious White was the pick. White played his college ball at LSU and is among a group of cornerbacks clustered in the second round range. He fits Whaley’s mold of big school, SEC player with a history of production over the course of his entire career.
Most Bills fans would be pretty pleased with this haul.
