Poll: What do you think of Matt Milano, the newest Buffalo Bill?

The Boston College linebacker was selected with the team’s first fifth-round pick.

With the 163rd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected Matt Milano from Boston College. The Bills stood pat on the selection for the first time during this draft.

A two-year starter for the Eagles, Milano was ultra-efficient, totaling 29.5 tackles for loss in 2015 and 2016 combined while making 117 total tackles. He also had 6.5 sacks in each of his final two seasons at Boston College.

The 6’0”, 233-pound linebacker ran a 4.67 in the 40-yard dash at the combine, had a 35” vertical and a super-impressive broad jump of 126”, the latter placed him in the 93st percentile among off-ball linebackers at the combine since 1999. On MockDraftable.com, his two closest athleticism comparisons were Lawrence Timmons and Deion Jones.

He projects to the sideline-to-sideline weakside linebacker spot in Sean McDermott’s 4-3 defense.

What do you think of the pick, Bills fans?
