Buffalo Bills hire Terrance Gray as Director of College Scouting

With this signing, Buffalo’s front office leadership is mostly complete.

The Buffalo Bills announced the hiring of Terrance Gray as their Director of College Scouting on Thursday afternoon.

Gray has spent the last eleven seasons in the Minnesota Vikings organization, most recently as their Southeast Area Scout. Before that he was a scout for the Midwest and a BLESTO scout in their organization. Gray began his career as a league employee in the NFL offices in New York City, and got his first scouting job as an area scout with the Kansas City Chiefs after that.

Gray joins an experienced staff led by general manager Brandon Beane and Assistant general manager Joe Schoen. He’ll work under VP of Player Personnel Brian Gaine along with Director of Pro Personnel Malik Boyd, managing Assistant Director of College Scouting Lake Dawson and the National and Area scouts underneath him.

With that hire, the Bills are mostly set up with their 2017 front office configuration. A couple scouts may yet remain to be signed, but there is now a complete chain of responsibility from the general manager downward.
