Buffalo Bills release 2017 training camp schedule

Buffalo’s new regime made some smart changes this year.

The Buffalo Bills 2017 training camp schedule is here, and it looks drastically different from what we’ve seen in past years.

Yes, the team will still be holding (the vast majority) of their practices at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, New York. But the times have been tweaked.

This year’s camp kicks off with a 5:30 pm "night" practice on July 27. The headliner is an August 4 practice at 5:30 pm inside New Era Field.

Two other practices at 2:15 pm on Sunday, August 6 and Sunday, August 13 at St. John Fisher College that require a free ticket to attend make it significantly more convenient for anyone traveling from outside the Rochester area. It’s much easier to make a day out a trip to SJFC on a Sunday afternoon than it is to travel there for a 6 pm practice during the middle of the week.

This year, there are 14 training camp practices. In 2016, the Bills had 16 training camp practices.
