Adolphus Washington of the Buffalo Bills was arrested on Sunday in Sharonville, Ohio on a firearms charge according to Cincinnati.com.

Washington is being accused of improperly carrying a concealed firearm near a local waterpark. The Sharonville police report stated that Washington displayed his firearm while he was within feet of officers and he, “did not inform officers beforehand.” The report also notes “at the time of the arrest, police were clearing out a crowd from the park's parking lot, the police report says.”

The up-and-coming defensive tackle had a promising rookie campaign, appearing in 15 games, recording 21 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Mainly a rotational player among the line, Washington is going to be expected to improve as Kyle Williams comes to the end of his career. A possible suspension from the league may be handed down as well as discipline from the team.

Sean McDermott has already shown he will not deal with off-field antics when the team released Cyrus Kouandjio for an incident with police in April. With training camp only a few weeks away, this story could escalate for the Bills quickly.
