Welcome to Buffalo Rumblings, Buffalo Bills fans. If you’re reading this, you probably know who I am but today is the first day I am allowed to introduce myself as the Editor-in-chief of Buffalo Rumblings.
The first thing I’d like to do is thank Brian Galliford and Chris Trapasso for their leadership as previous EICs, and especially Brian, who first brought me on board as an unpaid contributor in January of 2009 when I was writing fanposts on the site. Eight years later, I’m writing this post from the top of the masthead at the most popular Buffalo Bills blog on the planet.
Blogging isn’t something I set out to do. I wanted to write and be heard and this community allowed me that opportunity. That hasn’t changed, even if the community has quite a bit. With that in mind, I’d like to share today that building that community will be important under my management. The editorial staff will be participating in the comments section more regularly and the discussions that built this blog will continue.
In the near future, you’ll see some more additions and changes to the masthead but today isn’t the day for that conversation. I haven’t wrapped my head around all that yet. Just know that today is a good day for us. Go Bills.
