BRIGHTON, NY – As part of a series of changes implemented by Sean McDermott intended to heighten fan experience at Buffalo Bills training camp, the first-year head coach and former prep school wrestling champion unveiled an interactive fighting Octagon where fans can wrestle him one-on-one.
From 3 to 6 a.m. every day, fans will have an exclusive opportunity to "Get twisted with McD." The immersive fan experience will feature a singlet-clad McDermott "positioning" fans in a pose of their choosing—headlock, full nelson or triangle choke—and then uploading a photo of their lifeless expressions onto the Bills’ official Instagram feed. In addition to the personalized photo, each fan will also receive an autograph from the head coach in the form of a co-signed injury waiver.
"It’s all about accountability. That starts at the top, which is me, and goes all the way to the bottom, the fans. We wanted to give people a chance to become a part of the process of winning."
Bills training camp continues at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.
