Bills injuries: Ronald Darby, Marcell Dareus return to practice, LeSean McCoy sick

Three veteran Bills didn’t practice Tuesday.

The Buffalo Bills returned to the practice field on Tuesday morning and a few familiar faces were back in action with a few new faces on the sideline. Most of it was good news, though, as the newly-sidelined Bills are minor.

Ronald Darby, who injured his leg last week, was back to being a full participant on Tuesday, head coach Sean McDermott said before practice. Marcell Dareus and his tweaked hamstring was a limited participant, an upgrade over not practicing.

Missing practice on Tuesday was LeSean McCoy, who “caught a bug” overnight. Also getting the day off were Eric Wood and Lorenzo Alexander, who were given veteran rest days.

Jonathan Williams will get the lion’s share of reps in McCoy’s absence, while Ryan Groy will play start at center for Wood. The competition at linebacker will carry on without Alexander in the mix.

Safety Colt Anderson remains on the PUP list.
