The Buffalo Bills new head coach Sean McDermott may not be as exciting to watch on TV as his predecessor Rex Ryan, but that isn’t stopping him from getting just as much camera time on the local stations.
According to The Buffalo News, “The Sean McDermott Show” will begin airing on WKBW (channel 7 in Buffalo) and MSG WNY on September 11th at 11 a.m., just two hours before the Bills kick off the regular season against the New York Jets. The radio voice of the Bills, John Murphy, will be the host of the program.
“The show may actually air earlier on MSG a few times on Friday and Saturday, but there will be no consistent time period because the cable station has other commitments,” notes Alan Pergament of The Buffalo News.
Don’t expect any outbursts from McDermott, like screaming at his team to go get a snack. Instead, anticipate hearing about having the team buy in to his process. A lot of what McDermott says in the media will probably just be echoed in the show, as the new coach has proved that he is a no-nonsense and straightforward type of coach, unlike his predecessor.
